MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival
OVER 200 CINEMAS SPANNING 6 CONTINENTS UNITE FOR ONE WEEK FOR THE WORLD'S FIRST GLOBAL FILM FESTIVAL

BRISBANE
You Be the Judge!

Film lovers in Brisbane will get the chance to unite with audiences spanning 6 continents this week in watching and then voting for the short film - from 10 selected - they think should become the winner of the Annual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival to take place at the on dates and times of Screenings: http://www.manhattanshort.com/cinemas.html.

MANHATTAN SHORT is not only the world's largest short film festival, it is the world's first global film festival, with over 200 cities taking part in this event this week alone. With past Finalists going on to be nominated and a few of note nabbing Oscars in the short film category, this is a unique opportunity for film buffs in Sydney to get a glimpse of the future filmmakers and story tellers of tomorrow.

Out of 440 entries received from 43 countries around the world, MANHATTAN SHORT selected 10 short films as finalists. Each film is 15 minutes or under in length. Countries represented this year include Australia, Canada, UK, Germany, Croatia, Ireland, Mexico, France, Poland and Italy in what festival organizers describe as the “United Nations of film festivals.”
